IT Support Contract
The IT Support Contract is the entry-level support product supplied by Wildings Professional Systems. This product best suits small companies with smaller IT budgets or larger companies that have an in house IT department but need a rapid response to system failures. NOTE: All Network Guardian products must be purchased in conjunction with an IT Support Contract.
The IT Support Contract provided by Wildings Professional Systems guarantees that in the event of a system failure an engineer will respond within 1 hour where remote access to the system is available, 4 working hours* for onsite server problems and 8 working hours* for onsite workstation problems. The contract covers all call out charges and labour costs. Any parts required for repairs that are not under warranty with us will be charged but we do provide discounted prices where a contract is in place.
Unlike many other maintenance contracts in the market place today our contract also covers the failure of the network platform. This means that we will also respond to problem caused by the operating system or Back Office® software such as Windows® XP/Vista/Windows 7/Server 2003/Server 2008, Exchange Server®, Backup Exec®,Outlook Web Access, Remote Web Workspace etc.
The IT Support Contract is much like a recovery service that you would buy from the AA or RAC in that it guarantees a time limit that an engineer will respond to a system failure and get you up and running again. But in the same way that the AA or RAC does not service your car regularly to prevent it breaking down an IT Support Contract does not provide network management or system administration, this type of cover is provided under a Network Guardian agreement.
WPS IT Support Contract Vs Standard Maintenance Contract.
The cover provided with an IT Support Contract supplied by Wildings Professional systems goes over and above the usual level of cover that is provided by many other support companies. Many contracts of this type will only cover your hardware should it fail and any responding engineers will not reinstall software or restore system configuration, in short your hardware is repaired and the engineer walks away even though the system is not completely operational. Because an IT Support Contract supplied by Wildings Professional Systems extends the cover provided to include the operating system (platform), Microsoft® Office applications, and Microsoft® Back Office applications any failed hardware would be replaced and all software and system configuration would be reinstalled and configured.
